The everyday financial English analyser is a new and original tool to help raise standards of communications in personal financial services.
You can use the analyser to compare language used in letters, leaflets and adverts with everyday English. Using the same language that people use themselves makes the meaning easier for them to absorb.
To use the analyser click on the link at the bottom of this page. Simply copy and paste your document into the analyser and click on the analyse button. You will see words highlighted that are not in common use. The analyser will also highlight sentences that may be too long.
There is also a thesaurus. To use, highlight the word to be reviewed and click on the thesaurus button.
